Critical Cultural Studies

This program prepares graduates with theoretical, critical, and practical knowledge in cultural institutions and aims to supplant and help develop the Palestinian and Arab cultural field with graduates that can employ their grounding in critical knowledge. It seeks to root critical knowledge in diverse cultural fields and link this critical stance with sites of production and an in-depth understanding of various forces at play in such production. This is especially relevant in the context of Palestinian and global struggles against all forms of hegemonic and discriminatory discourse and practices.
