Birzeit University students achieve top place in “Ana Jawwal” training program

For the first time since establishing the program 13 years ago, Birzeit University team achieved first place in the “Ana Jawwal” training program, surpassing eight Palestinian universities.

The team, which comprised 20 students, obtained a monetary prize of 10,000 JOD. In addition, team members Tariq Soboh and Majdi Iqtait received awards for their social and leadership skills.

Dr. Iyad Tumar, dean of the Student Affairs, thanked the team for their dedication and commended the students for their engagement in programs and projects that benefit the university and the community, consolidate their personal and social skills and prepare them for the job market. He also highlighted the significance of extracurricular activities organized by the university in fostering creativity and management skills.

The Ana Jawwal program aims to engage students in wide-ranging campaigns to bridge the gap between academic study and practical application in professional arenas through offering internships and training opportunities that enhance students skills and competencies in the job market.
