Two Birzeit University Students Participate in Problem-Solving Competition in Kazan, Russia

Birzeit University’s computer engineering student, Suhaib Sawalha, and computer science student, Mohamad Yahya, participated in the programming problem-solving competition held in Kazan City, Russia, as they participated in the Games Of the Future competition. It was held for the first time and 50 competitors worldwide participated in it.

 
The two students represented Palestine in this competition that relies on solving many of the multiple programming problems presented.

 
Regarding this participation, the students expressed their pleasure, saying:” It's a great honor for us to participate in such competitions and to represent Palestine and, Birzeit University in the international forums under the difficult circumstances our people are suffering from, particularly in Gaza Strip, and make the world aware of our rights, our case, and the creative and diverse Palestinian capabilities in various fields, especially technological and programming ones.”
