Student Huthayfa Mutan qualifies to compete in NYUAD International Hackathon for Social Good

Huthayfa Mutan, student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, qualified to compete in the annual NYUAD International Hackathon for Social Good after achieving high ranks in the first national hackathon organized by the Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology of Palestine on February 9, 2023.

More than 60 students from different Palestinian universities participated in the national contest. Dr. Ahmad Alsadeh and Dr. Mohammad Alkhanafseh represented Birzeit University in the hackathon committee.

The NYUAD International Hackathon for Social Good will be held on April 28-30, 2023, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It will focus on quantum computing technologies and will bring top global quantum computing experts to mentor students and explore challenging projects in machine learning and AI, physics, math, chemistry, online gaming, healthcare, security and quantum-generated artwork.
