Physics Masterclass Offers Cutting-Edge Technology to Students

Insights on the basic methods of research in particle physics were explored at a masterclass organized recently by the Physics Department at Birzeit University. Researchers and experts from the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland attended the event.

Head of the Physics Department Isma'el M. Badran said that the event "Physics in the 21^st century," offered students the opportunity to experience the forefront of physics research.  "Students can work elbow-to-elbow with scientists and get a taste of how modern research in physics functions."

He announced during this masterclass that interested and qualified students would be offered training opportunities and scholarships in Switzerland.
