Model representations using transfer functions, block diagrams and linear state space. Basics of Nonlinear systems and their linearization techniques. Control System types and effects of feedback. System analysis: transient response, steady-state error, sensitivity and stability. Simulation of dynamical systems. Block reduction and signal flow graph techniques. Compensators design using root-locus method. Introduction to frequency response.
