A series of lectures that focus on understanding architecture and urban spaces through human perception and mental maps, introduction to the environmental, economical, and social aspects that are essential for urban design and its role in shaping the spatial morphologies and typologies of cities and villages, defining the charectirsics of the urban fabric in cities and villages and understanding the forms of integration between its elements and parts, social services and infrastructures in urban fabrics, and conducing a practical study on a specific housing neighborhood, design implementation, which includes designing a series of buildings in sites located in a dense urban fabric, or development of existing urban fabric taking into consideration the urban character and typology.
