Development of the interior space in the world across different civilizations, with emphasis on Baroque and Rococo, neoclassical periods in Europe, and the development of interior spaces in the Islamic world in relation to architecture and public space after the 14 century. Cross-cultural matters that have influenced Modern discourse in post-industrial Europe. Development of architecture & interior space movements after the industrial revolution in the late 18th 19th and early 20th centuries (to the end of world war II). Emerging modern movements (Arts and Crafts, Avant-Garde, Modernism), examining the contextual, socioeconomic, religious, and political issues. (2 hours theory)
