(1hour theory, 9 hours practical)
Demonstrate understanding of the design processes; design thinking and professional standards and practices. Use knowledge of the technical skills, tools, systems, and processes of design in order to distill creative solutions from multiple possibilities and embark on sophisticated experimentation with materials, forms, designs and presentation. Identify the main trajectory of design practice, including a general framework for the direction of practical material, theoretical research. Apply appropriate research methodologies to frame needs and requirements for new products, outputs, and designs. Strategize design solutions and effectively communicate them ability to generate innovative design solutions for designated needs and user. Synthesize how to implement a design idea through prototyping and materials selection, taking into account relevant contexts.
