Equilibrium relationships, alkalinity and acidity. Complexation reactions of organic compounds within the environment. Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). Dissolution and precipitation chemistry, carbonate system, waste treatment. Basic bioradioactive reactions.
