Principles and techniques of quantitative chemical analysis. Topics include treatment of analytical data, quality assurance and calibration methods, gravimetric analysis, titrimetric and equilibrium analysis, spectrophotometry, pH-metric determination and introduction to basic electroanalytical techniques. Laboratories will involve the use different analytical techniques in the determination of substances in a variety of sample analysis. (Lecture 3 hours, Lab 4 hours).
