Conducted entirely in Arabic using a communicative approach, discussion of the basic structure of the Arabic language, development of oral skills for the purpose of communicating in Arabic with native speakers on familiar topics, reading and comprehension skills for general texts and selected texts on social and economic issues, assessment includes classroom participation, regular written assignments, achievement tests, comprehensive tests and final examination. Prerequisite: ARSK131 or equivalent
