Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum

Born in 1912 in the UAE, Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum first studied Fiqh and Arabic language. Al Maktoum then joined the regular Ahmadiya School that was founded in the early twentieth century. Al Maktoum was governor of Dubai from 1958 until his death in 1990, and vice president of the United Arab Emirates after the establishment of the union in 1971 until his death.
