Route surveying, design and layout of vertical and horizontal curves, longitudinal and transverse profiles, earthwork calculations and mass diagram, and construction surveying, introduction to photogram metric surveying, a surveying project which requires preparation of a topographic map for an assigned area and concentrates on the applications of route surveying (Lecture 2hrs, Lab 3hrs).
