The outcomes of the work of "National Initiative Media Development" committees comprised of 80 civil, academic, legal, and gender institutions worked in the Initiative of Media Development, will be discussed at the conference.
The initiative included studies that tackled media development in nine arenas: legal reform, academic development, self-regulation, gender equality, media training, and role of media in the society, public media, and job safety. The committees came up with results to empower the Palestinian media reality, enhance its quality, and promote freedom of expression.
