This laboratory aims at helping the students understand more deeply the topics discussed in the general biology course. It focuses on practical aspects of general biology like detecting different organic compounds, learning how to use the microscope, studying cell structures, osmosis and diffusion, photosynthesis, mitosis, genetics, diversity of life, anatomy of invertebrates and vertebrates and animal tissue (Lab 3 hours).
