The Transparency, Evidence, and Accountability Enhancement Program

The Transparency, Evidence, and Accountability Enhancement Program (funded by the United Nations Development Program - UNDP) provided an opportunity for a number of faculty members in the Faculty of Law and Public Administration to follow up with legal developments with regards to corruption crimes. It also contributed to strengthening and developing the capacities of the Anti-Corruption Commission staff in legal, administrative and technical matters.

In addition, this project greatly enhanced cooperation between the Faculty of Law and Public Administration and the Anti-Corruption Commission. This collaboration is evident in the joint projects undertaken by both parties, achieving the university’s strategic goals with regards to community service and external networking, especially with the public sector. For instance, the Faculty of Law and Public Administration and the Anti-Corruption Commission are developing an integrity and anti-corruption diploma program. They are also working on providing an undergraduate course for law students under the title “Corruption Crimes.”
