Book lending program starts at BZU
The Voluntary Work Program at the Deanship of Student Affairs announced on 17 January 2010 the starting of lending textbooks of various disciplines, This came with the beginning of the second semester, as a new policy at the beginning of each new semester.
The Acting Dean of Student Affairs,, Mohammed Al-Ahmed, stated that the goal of this program is to help students by facilitating their access to some books, which they need, to be returned at the end of semester, from which other students will benefit.
The coordinator of the Voluntary Work Program, Ghada Omari, explained that the idea originated from students' efforts in collecting textbooks, classifying them, and then lending them to other students - this came to promote cooperation and communication between students and to raise the spirit of humanism among them.
