Design Thinking Lab

The program focuses on incorporating the philosophy of design thinking in the development of interactive science exhibits - particularly in the stages of Ideation, Research, Prototyping, and Evaluation.  The program was co-developed with Al Qattan and the participants will have a chance to access the maker space in the Science Studio to work on their science exhibits projects.

The program consists of a number of interactive sessions, both intellectually and artistically stimulating. The program hosts discussion sessions related to the interplay between art and science as well as in-person visits to art and science museums and exhibitions. Selected readings on related matters will be recommended, and speakers (artists, professionals, academics, exhibit developers, researchers, etc.) will be invited to share their experience and expertise in the development of ideas and projects.
