Minister of Justice Lectures on a Lawyer’s Role

In the context of a special course for law students on "scientific research methods," the law department at the Faculty of Law and Public Administration held on December 19, 2013 a lecture entitled, "The scientific methodology in lawyer’s work," delivered by attorney Ali Muhanna, who is also minister of Justice and former chairman of the Palestinian Bar Association.

 

Minister Muhanna defined the legal profession, stressing that it is a solemn profession. He talked about the nature of a lawyer’s work, which is mainly to appear in court, give legal advice, formulate contracts, as well as prepare studies and conduct scientific research.

 

Minister Muhanna was received by President Khalil Hindi, in the presence of Law Department Chairperson Ahmed Nasrah, course teacher Rashad Twam and the minister’s legal adviser.
