MBA Program Holds Second Alumni Meeting

Sponsored by the National Insurance Company and with the
support of Safad Company and Royal Group, the MBA Program at BZU held its
second alumni meeting on 5 May 2012.

 

 

BZU President Khalil Hindi commented on the design of the MBA
program being such as to prepare students to assume managerial positions in the
public and private sectors. He commended the Program's role in encouraging students
to understand local and international business environments that enables them
to conduct in-depth analysis before making decisions.

The Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Dr. Mohammad
Nasr, noted: "The program seeks to offer new specializations in
accounting, entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, banking and human resource
management, hoping for approval by the 2012/2013 academic year.”

The Director of the MBA Program, Dr. Grace Khoury, stressed
that the Program is presently working on developing executive education programs
that integrate managers from the private sector with the students of the
program and specialists from abroad.

Established in 1998, the MBA program has employed
distinguished business administration professors from Palestine and
internationally. The number of students enrolled in the program since it began has reached 848, with 562 of those graduated to date.
