Birzeit University launches annual Ramadan campaign

Birzeit University launched its annual Ramadan campaign, which aims to provide scholarships for financially disadvantaged, orphan and special needs students, enabling them to complete their education to lead and advance their communities.

In view of challenging economic conditions, the campaign aims to provide 400 scholarships for underprivileged students by raising charity and Zakat donations in compliance with Islamic regulations.

Since 2014, the campaign has helped more than 700 underprivileged students. These donations have enabled Birzeit University to increase its financial aid, allowing students to continue their studies and experience a rich student life.

The campaign is supervised by a group of faculty and staff members at Birzeit University, who manage the funding and allocation of scholarships and financial aid.
