From Birzeit University to Estonia… Nasim Hamed and Raneem Faris participate in Erasmus+ program

Nasim Hamed and Raneem Faris, students in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Planning at Birzeit University, are currently enrolled in a semester-long exchange program at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonia, as part of the Erasmus+ Program.

Hamed stressed the significance of studying abroad for his personal development. He added that this opportunity will allow him to acquire new experiences and learn about other cultures, especially since students from various countries participate in exchange programs.

Faris maintained, “This opportunity will be filled with knowledge, as it will introduce me to international curricula and new pedagogies. It will also allow me to challenge myself to adapt to new and various environments.”

Each semester, the Department of Architectural Engineering and Planning at Birzeit University offers two scholarships for students to study at Estonian universities. Birzeit University has participated in the Erasmus+ program since 2015, allowing it to send its students, academic and administrative staff in exchange programs and to expand its connections with various European countries.
