Birzeit Student Places Second in Arab Research and Studies

Birzeit University Master’s law student Renad Hasan Abdallah won second place in the Arab Research and Studies competition in Cairo for her research entitled, “Administrative control in case of emergency: a comparative study between the Palestinian and Egyptian legal systems."

Renad completed her MA thesis in May 2013, supervised by professors Yaser Amouri and Mohammed Sharaqah, and the discussion committee of professors Firas Milhem and Asem Khalil.

The competition was organized by the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo, a subsidiary of the Arab Organization for Education, Science and Culture, which is a part of the Arab League.
