Mohammad Kittaneh has a Ph.D. Degree in Geography from the Centre for Development Studies (ZELF), Freie Universität Berlin, Germany since 2016. His research focuses on the fields of refugees and refugee camps, migration, development, and urbanization. He has a BA. degree from Birzeit University, Palestine in 2004. He also has a MA. degree in Geography from Birzeit University, in 2010. He started working in Birzeit University in 2008 as Lab technician until he finished his master degree then as a teacher in the Department of Geography since January 2011 until August, 2012. He was selected to receive Paltel scholarship to start his P.hD in Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, until his finished in October 2016. He is currently lecturer at the Birzeit University, in the Department of Geography.
