Theory and methods of the generation, compilation, analysis, and applications of digital elevation data. Concept of GIS terrain data models, methods of surface spatial data modeling, photogrammetry and LIDAR DEM processing, terrain surface modeling, digital terrain analysis, analysis of surface engineering parameters, terrain visualization and animation, landscape visualization, applications.
