Exploring the world of sound design and its effect on building materials and the people occupying the space, subjects such as sound theory and hearing, sound sources, noise criteria, reverberation, and room acoustics, building noise control, reduction, absorption, sound transmission class, and outdoor acoustics, are analyzed.
