Introduction to technical drawing skills necessary for conveying design ideas, drafting accurate architectural drawings and presenting them using pencil and ink techniques. Reading and understanding architectural drawings, scale and units of measurement, and orthographic projections of floor plans, sections and elevations. Learning and understanding perspective systems and their use in the representation of three- dimensional architectural forms, including one-point, two-point, techniques for drawing exterior and interior perspectives, casting shades and shadows on two dimensional and three dimensional drawings (6 hours practical)
