The course investigates the industry of handicrafts and its development in Palestine, its regional connections. A chronological study of the adaptation and use of tools and materials throughout the Palestinian and Arab world context history: early Christianity, early Islamic, Omayyad, Mamluk, ottoman, and Modern Palestine, The impact of modern life styles, mass production and consumption in the development of handcrafts in Palestine and the Arab world.
