DSGN1350 | GRAPHIC DESIGN AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

Introduction to main 2D graphic design tools for screen and print, through hands-on exercises, students will learn two-dimensional computer-aided drafting CAD, to create 2D representations of 3D objects (plan-view, elevations, sections), prepare drawings for print, laser cutting, engraving and cutting. Work with both bitmap and vector based software to create printed material for offset, digital and silkscreen printing, such as posters, brochures, T-shirts, etc. As well as digital design tools, used to create designs for the screen, including web and interactive interfaces. (1hour theory, 6 hours practical)
