As technology is rapidly moving ahead organizations are relying mor
e and more on Information Technology as a business enabler, some of the bu
sinesses in today’s world (such as E-Commerce businesses) rely entirely on
IT. This brings along a whole new set of risks that business owners are try
ing to mitigate. When it comes to information Security it is a new IT fieldthat focuses on mitigating these new risks and avoiding large losses for v
arious types of business organizations and government agencies.

minar will discuss several of these new risks and various information attac
ks that can affect the organization’s assets, as well as the concept of pr
otecting the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) of the orga
nization’s assets, how to effectively mitigate these risks and finally howto establish a career in the information Security field.
