What is Erasmus Mundus Phoenix ?
PHOENIX is an ErasmusMundus, Action 2 Program financed by the European Commission and coordina
ted by the University of Almeria with the aim of strengthening cooperation
among 9 European higher education institutions and 8 Middle East higher edu
cation institutions (3 in Palestine, 1 in Syria, 2 in Jordan, 2 in Leban
on).
The cooperation network aims at supporting students from all levels

(undergraduate, Master, PhD and Post Doctorate), researchers, and acade
mic and administrative staff to gain experience and skills through a schola
rship scheme.

PHOENIX offers 150 scholarships that cover travel expense
s, participation costs ( if applicable), health insurance and a monthly a
llowance. Palestine has 36 scholarships out of the 150.
