Faculty of Science and PARC are pleased to invite you to a general lecture entitled: Sands of Time: The Fossil River Life of Arabia Presented by                                       Dr. Faysal Bibi                                       Date: Saturday, Oct.3rd, 2015, 12:00pmPlace: Meeting Room Sci312  Biography: Faysal Bibi: works on the evolution of mammals, with an interest in the emergence of modern ecological systems. He is director of the Baynunah paleontology project with Andrew Hill and Mark Beech and has been leading expeditions to Abu Dhabi since 2003. He is a member of research teams working in Ethiopia and Kenya on the trail of human origins, and has also conducted fieldwork in the United States, Lebanon, and Mongolia. He received his PhD from Yale University in 2009 and was a fellow of the US National Science Foundation at the University of Poitiers, a Leibniz-DAAD fellow at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin, and a Gerstner scholar at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He is currently an assistant professor at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin. الدكتور فيصل بيبي حاصل على شهادة الدكتوراة من جامعة Yale ومتخصص في تطور الثدييات. يعمل حالياً كأستاذ مساعد في  متحف العلوم الطبيعية في برلين. يرأس مشروع "البينونة" لدراسة المستحثات وقاد العديد من البعثات الإستكشافية لأبو ظبي منذ العام 2003. كذلك، له العديد من المشاركات الميدانية في إثيوبيا، كينيا، الولايات المتحدة، لبنان ومنغوليا. All Are Welcome
