NIDAL RASHID SABRI is a Professor and Dean of College of Commerce and Economics at Birzeit University, Palestine. He served as the Director of MBA program at the same university, received his doctoral degree from the University of Northern Colorado, USA. He served as a consultant on several missions with UN organizations including: UN- ESCWA, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Center for Human Settlements (UN-HABITAT), and International Labor Organization (ILO). He also served as a visiting scholar at research department of International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He published many papers in various academic journals including: Journal of Derivatives & Hedge Funds, Research in International Business and Finance, Advances in Financial Economics, International Journal of Business, Review of Accounting and allgokkasten.nl Finance, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, International Journal of Commerce and Management, International Management, Small Business Economics, International Review of Comparative Public Policy, Finance India, Journal of International Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy Journal, Middle East Business Review, and Management Accountant.

He is also the author of about twenty books including: Stability of International Stock Markets (Nova Science Publishers, NY, 2007) Financial Markets and Institutions in the Arab Economy (Nova Science Publishers, NY, 2008). Arab Development Funds, Budgeting and Feasibility Studies. In addition, he served as an editor to the volume: International Financial Systems and Stock Volatility: Issues and Remedies (Elsevier Science Publisher, 2002).
