A letter of solidarity from the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco

A letter released on Nov 9, 2023 in response to Birzeit's Call for Solidarity.

The letter draws its essence from the multiple points put in Birzeit's letter, and it concludes with a decree consisting of seven points :

1- the condemnation and denunciation of the genocidal actions, the human crisis, and the apartheid system.

2- the call for an immediate ceasefire, and to honor the international laws and resolutions.

3- the call to launch instant investigation regarding the crimes against humanity and the war crimes according to Roma Statute through the Tribunal.

4- the recognition of the Palestinians' right of self-determination and state establishment.

5- to heed Birzeit's call for solidarity on Oct. 15, 2023

6- to suggest an academic day to talk about the genocide in Palestine on Nov. 29, corresponding with national day of Palestinian solidarity.

7- to recommend the Ministry of Education in Chubut to circulate the fifth point, and to join the suggested activities on point 6.

The letter is signed by Maria Laura Olivares, the University's Secretary (a title similar to the Director-General); and Susana Laura Vidos, the University's President.
