Major Public Administration/ Minor Political Science
To prepare capable and skillful administrative leaders in order to fulfill the administrative and political needs of the public and the civil sectors in a way that meets the needs of the local, regional, and international labor market; furthermore, to prepare graduates who are able to conduct applied and scientific research that combines both professionalism and innovation; and to develop the skills and the abilities of critical and innovative thinking in our students and enable them to develop innovative and creative solutions to what may face in their areas of specialization, and to prepare them for graduate studies.
- Studying the institutional framework as well as the structures, functions, and processes of public sector organizations as it relates to political matters through a multi-dimensional lens, which affords the student to build institutional and professional capabilities with and political Science focus, which will help elevate the performance of the Palestinian public sector, especially in the political arena.
- Developing leadership, administrative and research skills in the graduates of the program.
- Raising and strengthening awareness of civil service ethics and the national system of integrity, transparency, and accountability in the discipline of public administration and political science.
- Help students to understand major administrative and political issues facing our society and identify some ways to resolve them; and strengthen the will and ability to contribute to the achievements of Palestinian development goals.

- Graduates who are able to serve the public sector and the public civil organizations and who actively contribute by offering political alternatives and policies that enable them to bypass problems with political dimension they may face.
- An administrative class that contributes to the making and analysis of public policy (specifically relevant to political issues).
- Graduates who have the required administrative and managerial skills to resolve public problems with political dimension and to make effective decisions and apply critical thinking in areas of leadership in the public and civil sectors.
- Graduates who possess administrative skills for conflict resolution at work; work within a team or/and lead teams; strategic management; communication skills; and project management.
- Graduates who have the skills in public finance and budget management; account preparation and financial analysis and year end statement for the state budgets.
- Graduates who possess the required knowledge and ability to apply critical thinking and scientific research to resolve administrative and political problems as well as achieving local development.
