President's Palestinian Diaspora Grant- PAS Program

Seeking to expand its mission of promoting excellence in teaching and learning and of advancing the production of knowledge through research and in order to contribute to community service and intellectual pluralism in Palestine and around the world, the “Palestine and Arabic Studies (PAS)” program unveils a new grant that will help enable our Palestinian student body in the diaspora to learn Arabic in their homeland.

The program invites Palestinian students who live in the diaspora to apply for the Birzeit University President’s Palestinian Diaspora Grant (PPDG) for the academic year 2019-2020.

PAS will offer two partial grants for the spring semester and one partial grant for the summer semester. The grant will cover the tuition fees of a course in Arabic language and of the course “Palestinian Question 1” besides all administrative fees (but not the application and housing fees) for students who seek to enroll in the PAS program at Birzeit University.
