Program Structure

The program consists of 48 credit hours over four years. Students study full time over three summer sessions and part time during the two regular semesters in each year

Prospective Students and Career Opportunities

Perspective students who might be interested in this program are current faculty members in faculties of education who do not hold doctoral degrees or others aspiring to work in these faculties as teacher educators/educational researchers. Other potential students include specialists in the general directorates of education in the Ministry of Education and senior administrators in the governmental school system. These include, among others, school supervisors, teacher trainers, heads of the education directorates in the different regions of the West Bank and Gaza, and the staff at the National Institute of Educational Training. Finally, students working in, or aspiring to work in, other school sectors such as the UNRWA and private school sectors, and in educational non-governmental organizations are potential candidates for the program.
