Workshop offers insights on customs procedures

The Faculty of Law and Public Administration concluded on May 18, 2017 a lecture on "Custom Fees" presented by the professor at the Customs School La Rochelle in France Christope Mormina. The workshop targeted students from the Program of Public Administration, and the Master's program of Law and Economics.

Combining theory with practice, the training tackled three main pillars: tariff, value and origin. The training discussed  the general customs sector stereotypes, focusing on the Palestinian case within the Israeli procedural and legal practices that are imposed on those who work in this sector, including traders, exporters and importers.
