University professors utilize novel approach in designing academic courses
Workshop introduces professors to aligned teaching approach, revised evaluation methods

The Institute of Environmental Water Studies at Birzeit University, together with the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, held a workshop on aligned teaching approaches on May 8-9, 2018.
The workshop built the capacities of participating professors by engaging them in training courses on academic course design, which is based on the aligned teaching approach.
The workshop, attended by a number of professors from all university faculties, is part of the “Enhancing the Structure, Content and Outreach of the Water and Environment Masters' Programs at Birzeit University” project, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
