The Union of BZU Teachers and Employees open the 1st summer camp - News

On 1 June 2011, the
Union of BZU Teachers and Employees opened its 1st summer camp for the children of BZU
faculty and staff members, where about 100 children have joined the camp.

The Head
of the Union, Ms. Eileen Kuttab, stated that this 1st camp comes as
a step towards the support of the children of BZU faculty and staff members, through
the provision of educational and recreational programs for them.

Ms Kuttab
added that the naming of the camp as " generations communicate,"
reflects its spirit, since it includes children’s age group of 5 -12 and age group
of 13-15, who will work as volunteers. Also, a number of BZU students will
volunteer to work in the camp, along with members of the Union and few staff members
at Student Affairs Deanship.

The camp
will be open daily starting 8:00 am.-3:00 pm., and will continue until the end
of June.

It should be noted that the camp is sponsored by the
generous support of the Palestine Investment Company, in addition to other commendable
contributions of a number of individuals and national companies.
