Students Won Three Prizes for the Best Undergraduate Projects in Engineering and IT

Students from the Engineering and Technology Faculty won three awards in the first Undergraduate Research and Innovation Conference in Engineering and Information Technology, held at Palestine Technical University “Kadoorie”, on April 3 ,2016.

The conference included an exhibition of a number of innovative graduation projects for engineering and IT projects for students from different Palestinian universities.

Abduallah Hamad and Omar Al-Aqad from the Architecture Department won for their project on Architecture of Resistance: Rethinking Israeli Chepoint-Gilo 300, supervised by Architectural Engineering Department Chair Yazid El Rifai.

Ala’ Taha, Bashar Musafer, Mohammad Zaid and Amjad Hamad won the prize for their project entitled: “RC Quadcopter Control”, which was supervised by Faculty Member at the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Sameh Abu Awad.

Mohammad Assaf, Muath Shamasneh and Tareq Talhami’s project about 3D Printer Design and Implementation, supervised by Faculty Member at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Aziz Qaroush , also won in the competition.
