Sports managers and executives and students enrolled in the Executive Program in Sports Management discussed sports law in a lecture led by Nasr El Din Azzam, co-founder and head lawyer at Sport Makers, an international sports law and management firm, on Monday, May 6, 2019.

In this lecture, Azzam discussed the application of international sports law on international, regional, and local levels, detailing how and when it is enforced to protect the rights of individuals and clubs and to develop sports on a global scale.

The Executive Program in Sports Management, currently training its ninth graduating class, is offered by Birzeit University’s Center for Continuing Education with support from the International Centre for Sports Studies and the Palestinian Football Association.

The program is offered in 15 countries worldwide and includes six courses: sports management, financial management, marketing for sports institutions, communication skills, management of sports events, and sports law.
