Staff, academics explore novel methods to develop higher education internal assurance systems

A team of Birzeit University academics and administrative staff members participated in a quality assurance workshop organized by the International Institute for Educational Planning and implemented by the university’s External Academic Relations Office from  September 27 to December 10, 2021.

The team comprised Nabil Dabdoub, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Unit Manager; Suhair Ayed, assistant to the M&E unit manager; and Assistant Professors at the Faculty of Education Drs. Ola Khalili, Abdallah Bsharat, Iyad Yousef, and Tareq Raja.

In the workshop, supported by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), the participants explored new practices to develop innovative internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions, enhancing the quality of every process in higher education and boosting the employability prospects of graduates.
