Rehabilitating a hall in Naseeb Azeez Shaheen Building to accommodate needs of graduate students

Birzeit University launched a project to rehabilitate the Graduate Studies Hall in the Naseeb Azeez Shaheen Building for Graduate Studies, providing a space for graduate students to present their research projects and defend their theses.

In addition to renovating its infrastructure and design, the project will supply the hall with new furniture to develop a student-centered learning environment.

Introduced by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, the project was presented to the vice president for campus development, who sketched new designs for the hall in accordance with faculty needs and issued a call for tenders.

The project is supervised by the Engineering Office at the university and will be completed within two months.

This project falls within Birzeit University’s strategic plan for 2022-27, which focuses on the development of the university campus in line with its identity. The strategic plan also seeks to define the university’s project priorities, align its identity with the philosophy of investment and develop a green and smart campus in view of global climate change.
