Public administration professors visit Slovakian university to expand academic and research exchange

Two faculty members from Birzeit University’s  Public Administration Department visited Matej Bel University in Slovakia as part of their growing academic exchange program.

Jehad Alayasa, chair of the Public Administration Department, and Ayman Zaru, assistant professor of the department, agreed with department heads from Matej Bel to bolster their ties in academic research and mutual exchange among students and faculty members.

During their discussions, both parties agreed that Alayasa and Zaru would be members of the editorial committee for a magazine on the study of governance, public administration and policy making.

Alayasa’s and Zaru’s visit is part of an ongoing partnership between Birzeit University and Matej Bel University. In 2019, both professors lectured of economics and administrative science students at Matej Bel and published several joint research projects.
