Paltel Group to Offer Training, Jobs to Students

The Faculty of Business and Economics and Paltel Group have signed an agreement to partner in the delivery of training services and employment opportunities to Birzeit University students.

The agreement will open up new cooperative channels and allow for the exchange of expertise in order to drive economic growth. Both parties agreed on the importance of partnership and its significance in strengthening the relationship between academic entities and the private sector.

“Delivering an outstanding student experience is one of the key themes in the university’s strategic plan. A practical student experience encompasses many aspects of academia and intellectual development, social life, and the growth and refinement of the economy and labor market,” Dean of Business and Economics Grace Khoury Khoury said.

“It has always been a high priority at Paltel that we foster and maintain a productive dialogue with all partners, especially universities,” head of the Human Resource Department at Paltel Group Sliman Abu Hijleh said. “Universities are the main source of knowledge, innovative thinking and skill development according to labor market needs. Our role, as a private sector entity, is to complete what the university has started, building capacities and future leaders.”

The agreement was signed by Dean Khoury, Director of Alumni and Career Services Office Wojdan Farraj and Paltel Group’s Abu Hijleh. A delegation from the university and the group attended the event.
