Palestine and Arabic Studies Program wraps-up fall semester, prepares to enroll summer students

Program offers students a chance to experience Palestinian culture 

The Palestine and Arabic Studies Program at Birzeit University has recently finished the second semester of 2017/2018. The program offers a unique opportunity for international students to study the Arabic language and culture. 

Apart from the language and political/social science courses, the students attended a series of lectures andparticipated in field trips related to the courses they took at the university.

One student benefitted from Birzeit University President’s Diaspora Scholarship, in the second semester of 2017-2018. The scholarship connects Palestinian Diaspora with their homeland and heritage. Four additional students will be awarded the scholarship during the summer semester of 2017-2018. 

The program is currently preparing to receive the summer students of 2017-2018.
