Offered by the Department of Philosophy of Cultural Studies, the program is the first of its kind in Palestinian and Arab universities.

The program seeks to equip students with critical, cultural and practical knowledge to promote Palestinian and Arab cultural scenes. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, it will cover themes in history, literature, architecture and institutional management. The program examines critical knowledge in the context of Arab and global struggles with a focus on the Palestinian struggle.

Chairperson at the Department Of Philosophy and Cultural Studies Dr. Rami Salameh elaborated, “The program focuses on the Palestinian struggle in order to produce emancipatory knowledge and to examine the Palestinian case in light of Zionist colonialism, imperialism and neoliberalism.”

The program welcomes students from different academic backgrounds, especially those interested in the culture of Palestine.
