Media Development Center Concludes Training on "The Other Press"

On 29 January 2012, the Media
Development Center at BZU concluded a one-week training on "The Other Press."
The training was supervised by Nazir Majali, who is a commentator on
Israeli affairs for Arab television networks and Al-Sharq al-Awsat Newspaper.

Trainees included both journalists and
other interested participants, who received 30 hours of theoretical and
practical training.

During the training sessions, discussions
focused on many topics related to the Israeli press and the extent of its
ability to shape public opinion and effect change in Israeli society. This
course is part of a series of specialized training courses in print journalism
organized by the Center which aim to contribute to the development of participants’
performance while enhancing their awareness of the latest
developments in professional media.
